In An Autumn Minute

(From the Writer’s Digest Poetic Form Challenge Minute Poem, take 2)

As fall arrives again this year
I shed a tear
for seasons past
that never last.

The leaves are changing shades too soon:
Yellow, maroon,
orange and red…
Flora near dead.

Autumn has beauty all its own.
Colors so warm.
Canvas so bright
in fading light.
